User blog:Count Charles of Malta/Hotel Transylvania 3 - Some minor observations

So I recently watched "Hotel Transylvania 3: A Monster Vacation" at the cinema and I couldn't help thinking a little bit about "Count Duckula" afterwards, specifically about the episodes "Mystery Cruise" and its follow-up episode, "Lost City of Atlantis".

Now there seems to be some confusion about their episode numbers on IMDB because "Lost City of Atlantis" is marked as Season 2 while "Mystery Cruise" is Season 3, which is impossible because  it is obvious in the episodes that the events in "Mystery Cruise" take place before, a mistake I tried to correct here. But enough about that, I want to talk about "Hotel Transylvania 3" (HT 3 in short) and some similarites between these episodes.

Besides the obvious, the fact that both Count Dracula and Count Duckula take a vacation on a cruise ship, there are some other observations I would like to share. Like, for example, the fact that both of them share a love interest with someone who works on the ship. Or the fact that both of them manage to get tricked by the captains of the ships. I can explain further if needs be. But the biggest similarity is where "Lost City of Atlantis" is concrned, with the Kraken and everything, especially since in both of them Atlantis plays a central role in the plot.

I'm Not saying "HT 3" ripped off "Count Duckula" or anything of this sort. I love both of these franchises. I just thought that these are some interesting observations which I would like to share with you all.
