He admires evil of all kinds, even the little steps he thinks Duckula takes or the times he becomes an actual vampire causes him to be overjoyed. Many years ago, when the current Duckula wasn't around, he seemed to have more expression to him, shown well in the episode '[[Dear Diary]]'. Igor's conflict with Duckula is a large part of how he behaves now. On one hand, he is ever so disappointed in his master for not being like the previous incarnations. On the other, despite this, Igor is incredibly patient and loyal with the current Count Duckula. He is visibly upset whenever Duckula sells him off, especially so in 'Arctic Circles'. Perhaps he believes someday his attempts will succeed -- and either way, he has served the Duckulas for centuries, and that will not stop now. Interestingly, he does not desire to be the count, only a mere butler, demonstrated in '[[Prime-Time Duck]]'.
