Igor describes McGanza's lifelong ambition to find the Great Pyramid and his writings about his many "strange discoveries" there, including a "three-wheeled deck chair". But his strangest and best discovery was that of a great stone altar, which he actually discovered by mistake when he stumbled upon it in the darkness. As soon as McGanza had found the altar, a priest of the sun god [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ra Ra] and his assistant, who Igor says resembled "the walking dead", greet McGanza.
